Common issues we deal with

Electrics are no exception to deterioration over time, and there are a number of reasons why something might go wrong. Here are some of the most common issues we deal with:

How we find the fault

We endeavour to do everything we can to identify the problem with an initial inspection of accessories and fittings, checking for loose connections and any signs of burning, heat damage or dampness. If no obvious faults are found we will proceed to carrying out an in-depth electrical fault finding test using a calibrated electrical fault finding test instrument.

On completion of testing, if remedial work is required to reinstate power or rectify a fault found, it may be necessary to temporarily isolate the circuit or circuits affected for safety. A full quotation will then be issued before commencement of any further works.
